Accounts Assistant

Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant who is seeking a part time opportunity working 21 hours over the week and within a fantastic company? Our client are seeking a passionate and customer focused accounts to join their team. This role will be a mix of administration and accounts payable and will require a candidate who has great communication skills and wants to make a positive impact.

The Part Time Accounts Assistant will:

Be the first point of contact for all accounts payable queries

Dealing with statements

Creating new customers on the systems

Pick up and investigating any discrepancies

Reconciling receipts and investigating queries

Check invoices and stock using Xero

Dealing with the sales order process

Deal with credit checks and manage credit limits

Check all orders are invoiced and payments are received

Support with month and year end

Be responsible for any finance administration that comes into the office

To be considered for the Part Time Accounts Assistant you will:

Have previous experience on finance systems ideally Xero or Sage

Be confident on Excel
Maintain a minimum of 2 years accounts experience

Be proactive and hard working

Have the ability to build effective working relationships

Work with confidence on the telephone

Be a great team player
