Accounts Assistant
Location: Axminster, Devon
Salary: GBP20,500- GBP23,500 (DOE) + Excellent Benefits
Full Time, Permanent, 5 days per week (36.25 hours)

Our client is a well - established Accountancy Practice with a proven track record. They specialise in agriculture, education, hospitality, and private sectors.
The Role:
As an Accounts Assistant, you will prepare financial information, reports, and returns for diverse clients. Assist in decision-making, planning, and control.
Duties:
- Prepare financial statements for various entities.
- Provide bookkeeping services.
- Compile personal and corporate tax computations and returns.
- Manage Companies House and HM Revenue & Customs documents.
- Maintain and update accounting records.
- Complete quarterly VAT returns.
- Adhere to internal policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support Partners, Managers, and the office with general admin duties.
Requirements:
- Previously worked as an Accounts assistant or in a similar role.
- Experience in a practice-based environment.
- Good knowledge of accounting software.
- Quick learner of new IT skills.
