Reed Accountancy is pleased to be partnering with a leading firm in the Creative Industries sector. This firm, which specializes in the entertainment and media sectors, is offering an exciting opportunity for a candidate with 1-2 years of practical experience.
The role involves dealing with clients in the Film, Theatre, TV, Animation, and Video Games sectors.
The firm offers study support for AAT/ACCA qualifications and flexible working arrangements.
Main Responsibilities
- Preparation of financial statements from client trial balance or books of prime entry
- Liaising directly with clients to obtain information at the outset of a job
- Establishing and maintaining good relationships with clients and answering their queries
- Managing and reviewing the client database
- Collaborating with all Creative industries tax department staff
- Being responsible for following the department’s workflow and communicating progress with other members of the department
- Working to the department’s deadlines
- Ensuring compliance with professional standards and ethics
Requirements
- Highly organized and good at planning work.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to compute figures rapidly and accurately.
- Ability to analyse and interpret financial data.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Maintaining office ethics and confidentiality.
- Good telephone manner.
- Computer skills.
- Ability to perform well without close supervision.
Education and Training
- Willingness to study ACCA
- No prior experience is required for the Film/Creative industry as full training will be provided.
