THE COMPANY: We are currently working with a leading construction business, based in Leicester, who are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team.

THE CANDIDATE: The right candidate will have previous experience working within a fast-paced finance team, as well as a strong knowledge of credit control, invoicing and general administration.
The successful individual will be computer literate and will ideally have had some exposure to SAGE.
A relevant qualification accounting qualification is beneficial, but not essential.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Raising invoices and credit notes for the purchase and sales ledgers.
- Dealing with incoming queries via telephone and email.
- Opening new credit accounts and supporting with credit control.
- Effectively liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Confirming the dispatch of goods with the warehouse team.
- Using Excel and SAGE on a daily basis.
- General accounts administration.
