Aila is excited to be partnering with an exciting Real Estate business in the recruitment of an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. This company has seen huge growth in recent years and has a diverse portfolio across residential and commercial investments.
We are recruiting an energetic Accounts Assistant who is eager to learn within what is a best-in-class transactional finance team with a supportive leader. This opportunity will give you a broad range of exposure with a Global finance function to daily bank reconciliations and end-to-end Accounts Payable and Receivable.
Reporting directly to the Transactional Finance Manager, this is a role which will provide a great deal of support to the settled team of 3 within transactional finance on all things accounts payable and accounts receivable. You will ideally have 1-2 years’ experience within a similar fast-paced role as well as possessing a real drive and desire to learn, develop and add value within a high performing team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Posting bank reconciliations
- Weekly payment runs
- Intercompany invoices and recharges
- Management of the employee expenses claims
- Data entry across both sales and purchase ledger on SAP
- Management of the aged debtor and creditor reports
- Any adhoc tasks required to support the team in its duties
To be successful in this role you will have a strong transactional finance grounding within a similar role but above all must possess the mindset and aptitude to learn in a role that can provide you with a great deal of exposure to develop your existing skillset. You will be ideally keen to pursue (if not already) an accounting qualification and will receive the support required to achieve this alongside gaining further hands-on experience within the role.
