Accounts Assistant - Legal
A brand-new role has arisen at a leading, award-winning conveyancing practice for a Legal Accounts Assistant. This firm is renowned for its commitment to excellence and is now seeking a detail-oriented individual with junior experience to enhance their finance team.
As a Legal Accounts Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial integrity of the practice. You will be entrusted with the responsibility of handling client funds, processing financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with the Solicitors' Accounts Rules.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the management of client and office accounts
- Processing financial transactions including billing, receipts, and payments
- Reconciling bank statements and handling client queries
- Supporting the preparation of month-end and year-end accounts
- Ensuring adherence to financial regulations and compliance standards
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a legal or financial support role is advantageous but not essential
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn
