Accounts Assistant

This is a great role with a proviately owned Aylesbury based company. As their team grows, they seek an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team and support the business growth

Working in a small team, reporting to the Managing Director (with a dotted line to external accountants) your responsibilities include:

Role Profile:

• Overseeing all aspects of AP
• Supporting AR and Credit Control
• Assisting with the preparation of VAT returns
• Supporting month end leger reconciliations
• Daily & Monthly bank recs as well as customer & supplier accounts reconciliations
• Dealing with supplier queries
• Addressing queries from internal and external stakeholders
• Other administrative related tasks

Key skills:

• An understanding of accounting ledgers (debtors & creditors)
• Experience with transactional accounts, principally AP.
• Organised and methodical approach with excellent attention to detail.
• Experienced using Microsoft Excel daily, and all round IT skills.
• Some understanding of payroll processes would be ideal
