Your new company
This is a newly created company set up by a very experienced business person who has set up grown and sold multiple businesses across the UK. They are looking for an autonomous and confident Accounts Manager to set up and run the accounts for the Harlow business on Xero.
Your new role
This position will involve the right person to implement accountancy processes, looking at how they can make the business run as efficiently as possible, analysing costs and advising what parts of the business are more successful and where not so, processing all the sales and purchase ledger, cashbooks, bank reconciliations, VAT returns, Payroll for small workforce, paying utilities, payment runs, staff expense processing and other adhoc accounts duties.
What you\'ll need to succeed
You need to be someone who enjoys setting up processes, advising and supporting a business to make it more cost-efficient. The system in place is Xero, so you will need to be someone who has experience and is confident using Xero, alongside Excel and their in-house system. Good accounting experience, ideally AAT qualified minimum and someone who lives within commutable distance of Harlow.
What you\'ll get in return
Onsite parking, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, 37.5 hour working week, 4 days office based, 1 day home. This job is offered on a contract to permanent basis.
