We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Manager to join our client's fast-growing business based in Doncaster who are a FM company offering services throughout the UK. This role reports directly into the CEO with key relationships working closely with the Management team.
Role Responsibilities
- Process the payroll for employees including online timesheets, PAYE, pensions, and year-end.
- Prepare customer invoices reconciling with the purchase order and charge control systems.
- Manage the credit control procedure and ensuring all customers and key suppliers are credit checked.
- Monitoring and reconciling the company bank accounts (including credit cards and the invoice finance system) ensuring all transactions are correctly accounted for.
- Prepare and submit monthly management accounts for verification with outsourced accountants.
- Process Purchase Order System.
- Produce and submit the monthly CIS return and quarterly VAT return
- Liaise with external partners to ensure prompt and accurate filing of the company accounts.
- Other ad hoc duties as required by the Directors.
Person Profile
- Experience in Sage Line 50 professional and Sage Payroll is essential.
- It is essential you have considerable and relevant previous experience in a Finance/Accounts Manager role
- Working knowledge of MS Office and in particular Excel is also essential
- The successful candidate will be AAT Qualified or Qualified by Experience
- You must be a self-starter, proactive and able to prioritise you work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
