We are looking for an Accounts Manger to come and join our accounts team to play a vital role in managing daily transactions, assisting with financial statements and ensuring timely tax returns. You will be working with our Senior Accounts Manager to help with a range of duties.
Ideal Experience:
- Sage 200 Professional
- Credit Control
- Preparing & Raising Payments
- Inputting Purchase Invoices
- Backlog Filing
- Bank Recon
- Bank Journals
- Sending Invoices
- Reviewing Supplier Statements
- Cash Flow Forecasting
- Proactive with identifying nominal account errors
- Take responsibility for final figures
Duties include:
· Posting and processing journal entries
· Updating accounts receivable and issuing invoices
· Updating accounts payable and performing reconciliations
· Setting up bank payments
· Assisting with reviewing expenses, payroll records etc
· Updating financial data in databases to ensure that information is accurate and immediately available when needed
· Assisting with the preparation of weekly / monthly reports
· Undertaking administrative duties within finance as required
Could you be the one?
· Prior experience as a Junior Accountant or similar position
· Detailed orientated
· An analytical acumen
· Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
· Excellent knowledge of MS Office and SAGE Accounting software (Ideally SAGE 200)
The working pattern is Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. This role is on-site every day in our Snodland office. Due to our location, your own transport is required.
