As an Accounts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team dedicated to providing high-quality accounting services. You will be responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring all financial statements and tax returns are prepared accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of managing teams and building client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a portfolio of clients, ensuring all compliance deadlines are met.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous development.
- Ensure the accuracy of financial statements, tax returns, and other reports.
- Collaborate with partners on business development activities and strategic planning.
- Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment.
Requirements:
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or equivalent.
- Demonstrable experience in a managerial role within a practice environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and tax principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
