Description
- Lead and manage the Accounting & Finance team
- Manage your own team and their workflow.
- Review accounts prepared and make suggestions on best practice
- Own client relationships to the end, whilst adding the expected level of advice to the final end of year meeting held.
- Oversee budgeting and financial forecasting processes
- Play a lead role in staff development and training to build your team for the future
- Collaborate and at the table with other managers to discuss important issues impacting the firm and its future, having your say on the direction we take.
Profile
- Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field
- Professional certification (e.g. ACCA, ACA)
- Experience in a managerial role within the professional services sector
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- You can prepare accounts from start to finish with all necessary tax computations.
- Ability to hold an initial debrief with a client to discuss their accounts as presented.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, you can manage junior staff members and their output to meet deadlines.
- Deal with client calls and requests as a first responder.
- Can demonstrate proficiency in both cloud software and accounts production software, in all aspects of compliance.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
