Accounts Officer | Canterbury | Up to £32K - temp to perm

As they continue to grow, they are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. This role will predominantly focus on managing the purchase ledger and ensuring smooth and accurate financial transactions.
Key responsibilities:
- Process supplier invoices and ensure they are accurately recorded in the financial system.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes, resolving any discrepancies promptly.
- Reconcile supplier statements and manage any queries or issues that arise.
- Maintain and update the purchase ledger, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal departments to resolve any payment or invoicing issues.
- Covering sales ledger and credit control when needed.
Candidate Profile:
- Excellent numerical and data entry skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
