JOB TITLE: Accounts Assistant

START DATE: ASAP
LOCATION: Dartford, Kent
SALARY: £14.00 - £15.00 per hour

TERM: Temporary with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate
HOURS: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm (37.5 hours per week)

This Dartford based employer is searching for a new member to join their team. This long-established business who service clients throughout the South East offer a modern office space with public transport links close-by.

The day to day duties in your new job would be:

• Sales Invoicing - Raising and posting around 750 invoices a month
• Credit control - Around 25 clients that will require regular calling and follow up emails. Building mutually beneficial relationships
• Commentary - Commentary around debtors and accrued income to be updated on a daily basis and on a client by client basis
• Reporting - Produce aged debt and accrued income schedules both locally and for Group HO - High standard of reporting is a must
• Meetings - Present and commentate at weekly meetings with operations teams - aged debt and accrued income
• Reconciliations - Update schedules to keep a log of outstanding unbilled works

We'd love to speak to candidates who have:

• At least 2 years' experience working in a finance department
• Effective verbal communications skills
• Strong reconciliation skills
• Experience using the system Navision is advantageous, however full training will be provided
