Form of workInitial 3 month contract for an Accounts Payable Assistant for a live events company based in Central London.
The role is hybrid - 2 days per week in the office and they require assistance for a period of high workload.
There is an immediate need for this role, aiming for a start next week and an experienced Accounts Payable candidate would be suitable.
The Accounts Payable Assistant will be reponsible for:
- Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures;
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording Accounts Payable data;
- Reconcile the Accounts Payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted;
- Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements;
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients;
- Generate reports detailing Accounts Payables status;
- Understand expense accounts and cost centers.
The ideal Accounts Payable Assistant will:
- Be competent in end-to-end Accounts Payable
- Have experience processing high volume invoices
- Be a calm and confident communicator
- Be immediately available
