Are you an experienced Management Accountant or an Accounts Payable Assistant seeking that first step up?
This role is seeking a self-starter, a great team player, and someone with experience in a busy accounts department, to join the thriving and established finance team in Plymouth. This role is integral to the multi-faceted group of companies, which are at the forefront of the services they provide and have a commitment to environmental impacts by achieving a net zero status.
Key duties:
- Management of the Accounts Payable Process
- Ensuring purchase invoices are posted to the accounting system
- Processing of expenses
- Credit card postings
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Preparation & submission of VAT returns
- Construction Industry Scheme returns
- Liaising with year-end accountants/auditors and completing requests
- Setting up payment runs
- Assisting with credit control if required
- Providing support as required across the finance function in a growing business
- Any other duties as required
Essential
- Experience of working in NetSuite or similar business package
- Good experience of Excel
- Experience of working in a busy accounts department
