Accounts Payable Analyst (Belfast, Remote)

THIS ROLE IS FULLY REMOTE WITHIN NORTHERN IRELAND IF PREFERRED

VANRATH are pleased to be partnered with a leading organisation in the security industry who are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Analyst position to join their team on an initial interim contract for 12 months, with the opportunity to extend to a permanent position. This role can offer an experienced finance professional the next step in their career within the private sector.

The Ideal Person

• 3 plus years of Accounts Payable and general accounting experience in a fast-paced environment
• Proven experience in driving problems to a resolution
• Strong computer and business solution software skills
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with vendors, management, and auditors
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance or related field is preferred

Responsibilities

As a Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Reviewing vendor invoices, record invoices according to company policy.
• Maintaining accuracy in processing of AP transactions, including accounting coding, timely payments and reconciliations.
• Preparing weekly payments to vendors and employee
• Review, verify and process employee expense reports
