As we continue to expand, we are seeking a detail–oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Assistant to join our finance team.
Key Responsibilities:Process Accounts Payable invoices accurately and efficiently.Verify and reconcile invoices with purchase orders and receipts.Ensure timely payment of invoices while adhering to company policies and procedures.Strong data entry skills for expense reportsProficient in Microsoft ExcelKnowledge of accounting principles and Accounts Payable processesFamiliarity with purchase order processesAbility to work independently and take initiative.Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues with vendors.Assist in month–end closing activities.Maintain organized and up–to–date records of Accounts Payable transactions.Assist with other finance–related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.Requirements:Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role is preferred.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.A proactive and problem–solving mind set.Benefits:Competitive hourly rate of 15.00.Opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.Friendly and supportive work environment.Pension scheme.Employee discounts on company products/services.
