Accounts Payable Assistant

Do you have demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable but are keen to have a role with autonomy? Do you have a natural affinity with new systems and are always looking at ways to streamline and automate process? If so, this Ruddington based role could be perfect for you.An engineering business with extremely low turnover, this role is due to retirement. Joining as they go through a system upgrade, there will naturally be change and therefore they are looking for someone who can add value and ultimately become a SAP S4 superuser.With the day to day responsibilities of a traditional Accounts Payable role, you'll be processing invoices, statement reconciliations, chasing vendor approvals and handling queries alongside learning the intricacies of the new system and supporting the wider finance team.This is a team that pulls together so you will cover other areas during holidays or periods of absence. Hybrid working, you can work 2 days one week and 3 days the next in the office or 2.5 days, they are really flexible.
