Accounts Payable Assistant Job in Christchurch (Permanent)

What you’ll be doing as Accounts Payable Assistant:

• Complying with all relevant Company Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
• Working in accordance with Company Values.
• Processing approximately 6,000 Accounts Payable invoices per annum, ensuring that all invoices are accurately entered into the accounting records and properly authorised in accordance with company policies.
• Reconciliation of supplier statements.
• Working with goods receiving and purchasing to resolve invoice queries.
• Preparation of weekly and monthly payment runs for approval.
• Other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Reliability and dedication
• Educational attainment including grade C/4 GCSE Maths or equivalent

Salary and Details:

• Salary Circa £22 - 23,000 per annum
• 25 days holiday a year, plus 8 bank holidays
• Opportunity for enrolment into the company shares scheme
• Working hours of Monday - Friday 8:15am - 5pm
• One hour for lunch
• Training and development opportunities
