My client is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist with a proficiency in French to join their finance team. This role involves processing a high volume of invoices with accuracy and efficiency, managing a shared email inbox, and ensuring timely payments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance or business, robust systems knowledge, and excellent problem-solving skills and must be fluent in French.

• Process a high volume of invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Raise and record all internal debits/credits necessary for ledger management.
• Manage a generic shared email inbox daily, ensuring timely responses.
• Handle queries to ensure invoices are paid on time.
• Reconcile bank statements and follow up on all items, including partnering with local finance teams.
• Close all ledgers on time, reconcile intercompany statements, key month-end reporting, and complete AP to GL reconciliations.
• Run reports to assist in maintaining a clean ledger.
• Review the weekly payment run file and maintain supplier setups & bank verifications.
• Other ad hoc duties when required

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Fluency in French.
• Educated to a 2:1 degree level or equivalent, preferably in business/finance.
• Previous experience within an international Finance/Accounts Payable organisation.
• Robust systems knowledge and strong Excel skills (experience with Oracle is an advantage).
• Demonstrable problem-solving experience, managing supplier accounts and reconciliations.
• Strong customer service skills and excellent attention to detail.
