We are looking for an energetic and hardworking Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in handling high volumes of transactions and who is keen to work in a vibrant and supportive environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
• Oversee the Accounts Payable process, ensuring high volumes of transactions are handled efficiently.
• Working within a Accounts team of 7 within the Accounts department, reporting directly to the AP Manager.
• Utilise Sage Line 50 for financial processing.
• Match purchase orders with invoices and manage payment runs.
• Address and resolve supplier queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain a strong working relationship with UK clients, ensuring a smooth Accounts Payable operation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
• Proficiency in Sage Line 50 and experience with matching PO’s and generating payment runs.
• Ability to handle high volumes of transactions with low values (approximately 1300 monthly).
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
