to join our clients finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable
team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities:Manage and lead a team of Accounts Payable Assistants, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-performance levelsOversee the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and vendor managementEnsure timely and accurate payment of invoices, reconciling discrepancies, and resolving issues with vendors.Generate and analyse Accounts Payable reports, providing insights to senior management on key performance metrics.Maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and issue resolutionStay informed about changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices, incorporating updates into the Accounts Payable processKey Experience & Qualifications:Experience in Accounts Payable and leadership or supervisory roleStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in accounting software and Microsoft ExcelDetail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrityAbility to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentOur client is a rapidly developing business based in Birmingham city centre with an open and friendly culture.
