Accounts Receivable Analyst - Contract

Accounts Receivable Analyst, £15-£19 hourly, Abingdon (Contract) 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our clients finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Accounts Receivable management, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely collection of payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Receivable Analyst:

• Generate and issue accurate and timely customer invoices.

• Verify and reconcile billing discrepancies on the portal, identifying any rejected invoices. 

• Work closely with customers to resolve billing issues and discrepancies.

• Implement effective collection strategies to ensure timely payment.

• Process customer payments and allocate them correctly in the system.

• Reconcile Accounts Receivable ledger to ensure accuracy.

• Investigate and resolve any reconciling discrepancies.

Qualifications Accounts Receivable Analyst: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

• Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or in a similar role.

• Familiarity with accounting software and portal systems
