On behalf of a successful, boutique accountancy firm, we are seeking an Accounts Semi Senior, an opportunity that will be predominantly a remote role, with occasional visits to the firm's office in Windsor for team meetings, social-engagement, and client meetings.

The role will support the Director in providing accountancy services to a client portfolio or mainly limited companies and sole traders, typically, with turnovers from GBP500,000, and up to GBP36 million.
You will have a willingness to develop skills with accounts and tax work, including statutory accounts, management accounts, corporate and personal tax, and payroll, making this an excellent opportunity to further develop your accountancy skill set.
As Accounts Semi Senior your responsibilities will develop to include:
- Preparation and submission of statutory accounts
- Management accounts preparation
- Day to day bookkeeping
- Accounts to trial balance
- Being the first point of contact for clients
- Working closely with the in-house accountancy teams of clients
- Calculating VAT
- Prepare P11D returns
- Corporation tax, personal tax work, submitting returns and tax advisory

- Have previous experience in a similar role within a practice environment
- Ideally be AAT qualified, exceptional qualified by experience application will be considered
- Be IT literate, competent with Xero and preferably have experience of other accounting software such as Sage, Iris, or QuickBooks

- Be an excellent communicator, both in writing and verbally
- Be capable of working on your own initiative
- Live within a reasonably commutable distance of Windsor for visits
