Do you have at least 2 years’ experience working for an Accountancy Firm and want to work in a professional and supportive atmosphere which will also offer you a great work life balance? If so this entrepreneurial and forward thinking practice is looking to recruit a new Accounts Assistant or Accounts Semi Senior in a newly created position (March 2024) where your time will be split between preparing sole trader and Ltd company statutory accounts, corporation and personal tax Returns, bookkeeping assignments and VAT returns for an array of high profile London based clients. You will mainly use Cloud based software such as Sage One and Xero as well as CCH for accounts production. The firm offers hybrid working, you will be based 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home.
To be considered for this interesting new position (March 2024), you must have at least 2 years experience (ideally more) working in an Accountancy Firm, in a mixed and varied role involving statutory accounts preparations, VAT returns, tax returns and bookkeeping based assignments. it is likely you will be studying for a professional qualification, likely the ACA or ACCA. This firm has had great success with candidate from small or medium firm backgrounds that want to work in a London based firm with interesting clients and a lovely West End based office. You must now be looking for your next challenge, and to join a niche practice where training will be provided to get you up to speed in areas you don’t have experience of. You must possess excellent communication skills, be a self starter and be able to work in a team and also independently. The firm will offer full study support after the 3 month probation period has been completed as well as benefits package and progression with the firm.
