Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic Accountancy Practice in the Sheffield area as they look to recruit Semi Senior into their team on a full time permanent basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing and overseeing client bookkeeping, preparing complex financial statements, and engaging in various accounting and administrative tasks
- This position requires a blend of accounting expertise, client service orientation, and a proactive approach to professional development
- Overseeing client bookkeeping, preparation of VAT returns and managing a personal portfolio of clients
- Preparation of complex financial statements, interim management accounts, and tax returns for businesses of varying size
- Participation in client meetings and collaboration with directors and business owners
- Contribution to the training and development of junior team members
- Involvement in various accounting/administrative tasks as needed
Person Specification:
- Proficiency in Iris, Xero, Sage Business Cloud, Sage 50 and QuickBooks is advantageous
- Qualified by experience or AAT qualified / part-qualified ACA/ACCA
- Demonstrate excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities
