Senior/Semi Senior Accountant - Part Qualified/Qualified/QBE | Barnsley | Full Time | £27,000-£34,000 pa

At Seaman Herbert & Co we are a long established, friendly and team orientated firm of accountants, we offer a variety of accounting services to small and medium sized businesses.

Our services encompass commercial advice for businesses, accounts preparation, tax planning, management accounts, bookkeeping, payroll, and personal tax returns.

This role is practice-based, and we will consider both part-qualified candidates and those who are qualified by experience.

Are you the right person for us?

If you have the following, then the answer is yes!

• 4-5 years minimum experience required working in a practice environment
• You will be AAT/ACCA part qualified/qualified or qualified by experience
• Knowledge of accounting software packages such as Iris, Xero, Quick Books and Sage 50 Accounts would be preferable
• Strong accounts preparation skills
• The ability to work under your own initiative and in time take full responsibility for your own portfolio of clients
• Have good all-round experience of a practice environment and willing to help out in all aspects of what we do
• Good IT skill set
• Strong communication skills
• You will live in a 5 to 10 mile radius of Barnsley post code S70.
