We are seeking an Accounts and Admin Supervisor to join our friendly accounts team. This role is integral to supporting the accounts and administrative aspects of our business, which specialises in Insurance Testing, Certification, and Inspection. The ideal candidate will have a background in accountancy and experience with both purchase and sales ledgers, as well as supervising team members.
Day-to-day of the role:- Processing Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger transactions.
- Managing Credit Control effectively.
- Responding to pricing enquiries and enrolling new customers.
- Managing databases with accuracy and efficiency.
- Supervising a team of 2, providing guidance and support.
- Handling front of house duties, including answering calls and emails as required.
- Proven background in accountancy.
- Experience with purchase and sales ledgers.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
- Good IT skills, with proficiency in Excel.
- A pro-active and positive personality, with the ability to adapt to changes at short notice.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Competitive salary of £28,000 per annum.
- Office-based role with a 39-hour workweek and an early finish on Fridays.
