We are currently recruiting Team Clerks to work across our Children's Services Social Work Teams. These roles will be office-based, with the possibility of some hybrid working available after full training is completed.
The main responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative support and Reception duties (both face-to-face and over the phone).
- Data processing and maintaining/updating computerized databases.
- Organizing and maintaining diaries.
- Providing support to meetings.
- Offering general operational support to the team.
- Handling cash transactions as required.
- Collating various information to strict legal deadlines.
What We Are Looking For:
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent customer care skills, clear verbal and written communication skills, and proven keyboard and database skills. Strong telephone etiquette and the ability to produce accurate high-quality work are essential, along with proven organizational skills.
As the role involves a wide, varied, and often changing range of tasks, you will need to use your initiative, work well under pressure in a busy environment, and be committed to providing the best service possible to those requiring support. A non-judgmental approach to people accessing services and the willingness to work flexibly as part of a team to meet changing service needs are crucial.
The ability to use Welsh in the workplace would be desirable, and an Enhanced DBS will be required.
Requirements:
- Full enhanced children's and adults DBS.
- Previous experience working in administration.
- Experience in minute-taking and some finance skills would be a plus.
