We are currently recruiting for an Admin Officer based in the Newry area. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork, & additional clearances have been completed

Duration: 6 – 12 months
Rate of pay: £11.99
Hours of work: 9-5 flexible working
Main Duties:
Issue Decision / Re-issue Documentation
To produce decision documents for complex decisions including Ombudsman files, multi- defendants, ROI files, rape, fatality and murder cases.
Investigation of re-issues
To investigate re-issues within one day of files being returned from court support. Allocate files for re-issue or have case marked up for locate and trance. Peer Assurance of decision output To carry out a nominal check of decision documentation issued. Sign and date the check list on file and record for audit purposes.
Administration of unserved summonses.
To carry out follow up actions for unserved summonses in accordance with staff instructions. Reviews to be carried out at 12months and 24 months. Liaise with police to provide updates.
Lodging summonses in court.
To receipt and lodge summonses in court 7 days prior to the court hearing or Depending on individual court requirements.
Assisting in the management of casework support.
To provide assistance to the EO2 as required or during periods of absence by ensuring all objectives are delivered within agreed quality standards and timescales. Daily monitoring of caseloads and allocating tasks. Checking of CMS produced reports including statute barred, charge sheet report etc. Supervision and training of AA staff.
Youth Conferencing
To process all Youth Conferencing documentation at referral, plan and completion stages within 1 working day of receipt. Update Youth Conference spread sheet with all the relevant information on
same day.
Communication
To deal with telephone calls in a professional, courteous and helpful fashion and where necessary transfer promptly to the relevant section. To deal with queries and requests from Lawyers, Police, Solicitors etc. in a helpful and professional manner
Knowledge of PPS & Court Service systems (CMS &
ICOS)
Essential Criteria:
– 5 GCSE’s (A-C Including Maths & English)
– Previous admin experience would be beneficial but not required
