Administrative Assistant

Location: Braintree

Duration: Ongoing

Job Description:

We are looking for an dynamic and organised Administrative Assistant to join our team in Braintree. This position is initially required on a temporary basis with the potential for ongoing employment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing efficient administrative support to various departments, including business development, customer reporting, and general office tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. **Book Hotels:**

- Coordinate and book hotel accommodations for business-related travel as required.

2. **Data Input / Cleansing of CRM System:**

- Ensure accurate and up-to-date data in the CRM system through regular input and cleansing activities.

3. **Support Business Development Managers with Data Entry:**

- Assist business development managers with data entry tasks to maintain accurate records and streamline processes.

4. **Complete Monthly Expense Sheets for BDMs:**

- Collaborate with the finance team to compile and submit monthly expense sheets for business development managers.

5. **Keep Budgets Updated:**

- Maintain and update budgets, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial guidelines.

6. **Keep Track of Merchandise:**

- Monitor and manage inventory of merchandise, ensuring availability for promotional activities and events.

7. **Look After Items for Events:**

- Coordinate and oversee the procurement and management of ancillary items for company events.

8. **General Admin Tasks:**

- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the office.

9. **Arrange and Order Gifts for Clients:**

- Take responsibility for selecting, arranging, and ordering gifts for clients, maintaining positive relationships.

**Qualifications and Skills:**

- Proven experience in administrative roles.

- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

**Salary:**

Up to £12 per hour
