Sales Administration Manager
Location: Telford
Job Type: Full-time (36.5 hours per week) Monday – Thursday – 09.00 – 17.00, Friday 09.00 – 16.00
We are on the lookout for a highly organised and detail-oriented Sales Administration Manager to oversee a busy sales administration team.
The successful candidate will have a strong background within the Manufacturing sector, have knowledge of export customs processes and sales administration systems, with SAP experience being a significant advantage. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless operations, compliance with export customs requirements, and leading the team towards enhanced efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Day to Day of the role:
- Lead a team of 5 in the sales administration department, managing day-to-day operations.
- Streamline sales processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor order processing, invoicing, and shipment tracking for timely and accurate delivery.
- Ensure compliance with international export customs regulations and facilitate smooth customs clearance for export shipments.
- Utilise SAP software for managing sales orders, inventory, and shipments, and provide necessary training to the team.
- Oversee the preparation and maintenance of accurate sales and customs documentation and generate regular reports.
- Collaborate with various departments and communicate effectively with clients regarding order status and shipments.
- reviewing and implementing new processes and procedures with a continuous improvement mindset
Required Skills & Qualifications:
A recognised qualification in Business Administration is advantageous.
At least 3-5 years of experience in sales administration management, preferably in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of export customs regulations, procedures, and software.
Understanding of basic accounting processes.
Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and delegate tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
Proficiency in problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex customs and sales-related issues.
