Salary range: £24,702 - £26,873 per annum

Work location: Certificate Production Office, Oxford Westgate Library, Queen St, Westgate, Oxford OX1 1DJ with travel to Oxford County Hall and Oxford Register Office

Hours per week: 37 - we are open to discussions about flexible working

Contract type: Permanent

Vetting requirements: This role is subject to a criminal records check

Would you like to be part of a key process in registering births, deaths and marriages? Oxfordshire Registration service wishes to recruit a full-time Administrative Officer to work in the Certificate Production team.


About the role


You will register marriages and civil partnerships and produce the certificates for these life events along with birth and death certificates. You will also be involved in searching our archive of registrations that stretches back to 1837.


About you


You will be well organised with excellent ICT skills. You will be a good communicator and will be required to respond to high volumes of customer enquiries by telephone and email. You will have a good eye for detail and have a flexible, ‘can-do’ attitude.
