ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring for an Admin Support Officer to join the team at Central Office in Islington on a permanent, part time basis. You will hold a vital role in our central office to support the various back of house teams. You will be part of the Administration team, supporting with day to day admin, department support, reception duties, and other relevant areas of responsibilities. You will be trained in First Aid, Fire Marshal Safety, and other relevant training and qualifications.
Shift Pattern: 2 days per week, 22.5 hours, Thursdays and Fridays 9 - 5. We are open to a discussion for flexibility of working days.

OVERVIEW OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Office Management
- Support with all office and general admin support for central office.
- Provide customer service to all office users and visitors; meet and greet, welcome visitors, tours of he office, manage adjustments, log book management.
- Key holder responsibilities; be responsible for opening and closing the office, ensure always someone present on site to open and close in absence.
- Order and maintain kitchen supplies, office stationary, sanitary items, and other equipment and supplies.
- Support in ensuring our property agreements are fulfilled, check safety, repairs and maintenance and follow process for any issues.
Other Admin
- Post/Letter administration; maintain supply of stamps, daily distribution of post, arrange deliveries.
- Manage enquiries inbox and phone, forward emails and calls to relevant people.
- Update organisation chart on regular basis and internal directories.
- Support central office departments and other teams as required.
Other responsibilities than those described above may be required to be undertaken from time to time and will be expected to be performed to as long as it is within the capability and level of the position.
KEY CRITERIA
What we are looking for:
- Experience in identifying and resolving building and maintenance or health and safety issues
- IT proficiency; knowledge, skills, and ability to learn and manage online systems, particularly Microsoft
- Appointment and Bookings management ability on online systems, including Outlook/Teams
- Willingness to undertake relevant training to gain required qualifications
- Ability to prepare, and write documents, letters, and other communication to a professional, high business standard
What we would like, but not essential:
- Previous experience taking minutes in meetings
- Knowledge of Health and Safety and Equality legislation and practice
- Experience working in a similar size organisation/similar industry as Social Interest Group
- Experience working with similar persons that we support within our services/knowledge around what we do as an organisation
