Job description

Reporting to the Practice Manager my Client based BT13 area of Belfast require an Administrator to join their team on a part-time permanent basis

Duties

  • Scanning medical records prior to release of records
  • CCG referrals to District Nurses (bloods / flu and covid vacs etc)
  • Actioning electronic mail box (Docman) – contacting patients to arrange follow up tests / appts
  • Sorting and distribution of post
  • Allocation of form requests to Doctors and recording in medical records
  • Electronic filing of lab results
  • Ambulance bookings
  • All other reasonable duties requested

Criteria

  • Typing skills necessary and knowledge of Word, basic knowledge of Excel
  • Either 4 GCSEs (A-C including English Language) OR NVQ/GNVQ Level 2 Administration
  • Experience of working within an administrative role
  • Efficient admin / clerical skills
  • Dealing with members of the public on the phone
  • Understanding the importance of confidentiality
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to communicate information that requires tact and sensitivity where there may be barriers to understanding

25 hours pw Mon – Fri 9 or 9.30am – 2 or 2.30pm

Salary £11.44 ph
