Reporting to the Practice Manager my Client based BT13 area of Belfast require an Administrator to join their team on a part-time permanent basis
Duties
- Scanning medical records prior to release of records
- CCG referrals to District Nurses (bloods / flu and covid vacs etc)
- Actioning electronic mail box (Docman) – contacting patients to arrange follow up tests / appts
- Sorting and distribution of post
- Allocation of form requests to Doctors and recording in medical records
- Electronic filing of lab results
- Ambulance bookings
- All other reasonable duties requested
Criteria
- Typing skills necessary and knowledge of Word, basic knowledge of Excel
- Either 4 GCSEs (A-C including English Language) OR NVQ/GNVQ Level 2 Administration
- Experience of working within an administrative role
- Efficient admin / clerical skills
- Dealing with members of the public on the phone
- Understanding the importance of confidentiality
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to communicate information that requires tact and sensitivity where there may be barriers to understanding
25 hours pw Mon – Fri 9 or 9.30am – 2 or 2.30pm
Salary £11.44 ph
