Our client, a renowned education organisation, is currently seeking a highly organised and dedicated individual to join their team as an Administrator on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of an educational institution while ensuring a positive and inclusive environment for all staff and students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support to the education team, including data entry, filing, and record keeping.
- Respond to enquiries and provide assistance to staff, students, and visitors in a polite and professional manner.
- Assist with the coordination of meetings and events, including arranging venues, sending invitations, and preparing agendas.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, student progress, and assessments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support the procurement process by liaising with suppliers, comparing prices, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve administrative processes and implement effective systems that enhance organisational efficiency.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion and adhere to data protection regulations.
- Assist in the creation and formatting of documents, presentations, and reports using various software applications.
- Contribute to the overall positive and inclusive culture of the organisation by fostering a welcoming and respectful environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative role is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organisational skills and an aptitude for multitasking, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Enhanced DBS certificate (Disclosure and Barring Service) is essential for this role.
