Job Description

We are looking for an Administrator to work within the Planning, Governance & Compliance team.
The successful candidate will be required to provide, with direction, comprehensive support to colleagues at all levels for projects managed by the department to ensure their successful delivery and to provide general administrative support for the directorate. In order to do this you must be able to demonstrate experience in the following specific duties:
- Support projects by scheduling meetings, preparing papers and accurately extracting/recording actions to be circulated within agreed timescales
- Provide support for budget preparation and monitoring, such as purchase order processing, to ensure all procedures are adhered to
- Maintain project documentation and monitor version control by acting as the configuration librarian.
Additionally, you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Provide complex diary management support in order to ensure the optimal use of staff’s time.
- Focus on continuous improvement in relation to administrative processes to contribute towards the overall success of the team
- Be able to operate Microsoft Office packages at the appropriate level for this role
Applicants, as a minimum, should be educated to SCQF Level 6 (ideally in an administrative related discipline) and/or be able to demonstrate direct relevant experience for this role.
