Our client, an educational organisation, is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Administrator to join their dynamic MIS & Examinations team. As an Administrator, you will play a vital role in processing high volumes of student data and providing efficient administrative support. Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure compliance
- Make examination entries, ensuring records meet auditing standards and liaise with assigned Awarding Bodies.
- Administer all aspects of the examination process, including coordinating invigilation staff and securing examination rooms.
- Ensure approved access arrangements are in place for each examination.
- Keep delivery staff informed of deadlines for assigned awarding bodies.
- Maintain the integrity of individual examination sessions and ensure the safety and security of exam papers and student data.
- Process user access to external websites in accordance with College policies.
- Handle accurate and timely processing of claims, results, and certificates as per College and External requirements.
- Input examination data accurately into the college MIS system and make necessary amendments.
- Import/export data into external websites while adhering to GDPR guidelines.
- Issue relevant documentation in accordance with College procedures.
- Handle enquiries from students, staff, and external bodies both in person and over the phone.
- Support student enrolment when required.
- Continuously keep up-to-date with College policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
- Contribute to the overall vision and values of the College.
- Ensure the delivery of services adheres to Welsh Language Standards.
- Flexibly respond to the needs of the business and provide effective service to learners and stakeholders.
Experience:
- Previous experience working with high volumes of data entry.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an office environment.
- IT literate, with the ability to use spreadsheets and Word.
- Strong planning and organising abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Desirable:
- Previous experience of working in the further education sector.
Requirements:
- Flexibility is essential with the ability to work across multiple sites.
- Driver with access to a vehicle.
- Willingness to work unsociable hours at certain times of the year.
