This full-time post is available from 4th March 2024 on a fixed-term basis until the 31st of July 2024 (5 months) to cover a secondment. This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home, as well as flexible start and finish times. Summary of the role Institutes represent significant investments by the University of Exeter in areas of research strength and play a key role in helping achieve the University's Global 100 objectives. Institutes will strengthen our reputation for world-leading research and education of the highest quality and impact within their fields of inquiry. This post will play an important role in successfully supporting the Global Systems Institute (GSI). Working to the Senior Administrator, and closely with the Institute Manager, you will: Provide the Institute Director, Manager, and other academics with effective administration support to enable the delivery of strategic institutional priorities. Support the planning and delivery of a wide range of events and communications to raise the internal, national, and international profile of the Institute, build relationships with key partners and develop a vibrant community. Support the administration of the relevant governance and management groups for the Institute. Work closely with colleagues in Colleges and Professional Services to ensure the effective delivery of operational services to the Institute.
