Berry Recruitment are working with one of the county's primary emergency services to help them find an Administrator to work within their recruitment team, based in Exeter.
This Administrators position will be working 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday and will be paying £12 p/h.
In the role of an Administrator you will have the following tasks:
- Administer recruitment and selection activities for all employee categories.
- Support the onboarding process for all new employees.
- Administer vetting checks for applicants and current employees and flagging up positive disclosures.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating essential spread sheets, databases and systems.
- Inputting and processing data, preparing, analysing and distributing reports and information and taking follow up action where necessary, in a timely manner.
- Coach new and temporary members of administration staff, as required.
- Word processing correspondence and/or documents.
- Diary management, organising and attending meetings, preparing documents prior to meetings, representing department and/or minute taking.
- Maintaining professional publications and/or other publications and directories.
- Photocopying documents and putting into required format.
- Answering the telephone, dealing with general enquiries, and taking messages,
- Maintenance of departmental filing and monitoring systems (hard copy and electronic).
To be the successful candidate for the Administrator position you should be able to demonstrate a good background in administration and have excellent communications skills. Ideally you will have worked within a recruitment environment in the past as this will be the main focus of the role.
