Administrator

We are recruiting a Transport Administrator to join our team, based at our Head Office in Wootton, Bedfordshire, MK43 9EJ.

This role will provide an effective and total administration service to support the Central Transport team, whilst ensuring that a high standard of customer service is applied to both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Transport team general correspondence and administration, including suppliers and yards
• The maintenance of central vehicle records for all vehicles and plant and updating paper and computerised filing systems
• Dealing with incoming telephone calls
• The raising and processing of purchase orders
• Collating and ordering any stationary requirements for the team.

What we need from you:

• Previous experience of working within a Transport environment
• Excellent administration skills
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
• The ability to meet deadlines and multi-task, with great attention to detail
• Great communication skills, both verbal and written
• Flexible and able to adapt to change
• Full driving licence
