Salary: £29,748 - £31,557 per annum

The BFI is looking for an Administrator to join their Operations, Partners & Projects team, covering all administrative aspects of funding application and award management, project management, performance review, contracting and partner support. 

About the role

Crucial to the overall effectiveness of the BFI’s funding operations, funded partners and funding strategy, the Operations, Partners & Projects (OPPs) team are responsible for the operational capabilities of National Lottery and Grant-in-Aid funding and for wider operational frameworks for departments making funding awards. This includes project management; partner relationships; funding application processes and accessibility; producing consistent guidelines that reflect the current funding landscape; monitoring and analysing the outcomes of funded activity (including diversity) against targets and providing first class partner and applicant support for National Lottery and other funding awards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To support funded partner staff to deliver quarterly reporting to the BFI in accordance with contractual requirements, maintaining and updating templates and budgets to ensure accuracy and completeness of reporting.
  • To support the coordination of NETWORK funding callouts and the annual activity planning process for BFI delegates and partners, ensuring planning guidance and templates remain accurate and up to date, and the process runs to timetable.
  • The administration of funding agreements (including preparation, issuing and monitoring receipt) with utmost accuracy, collating information from applicants and partners, and supporting the Business Affairs team.
  • To assist in running initial checks on applications for funding, including eligibility checks, using an understanding of the requirements of NETWORK and other funds

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Demonstrable experience of being in a role involving effective team working in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to take comprehensive notes during meetings and produce a clear, concise and accurate written record of key discussion and action points / decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with a wide range of contacts effectively.
