We are seeking a Part Time Administration Support Officer to provide comprehensive administrative support to a busy department within a University. This role is pivotal in acting as a key liaison between the college and various university services, ensuring smooth operations and processes.
Day to Day of the part time administration support officer:
- Provide administrative assistance to support the Management Team.
- Handle communications, ensuring timely and effective information dissemination.
- Facilitate financial operations, including documentation, purchase orders, and liaising with suppliers.
- Coordinate logistical aspect, including accommodation, travel, and scholarships.
- Manage diary commitments
- Organise and support meetings, events, and academic venues.
- Record detailed minutes of meetings and maintain accurate documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the part time administration support officer:
- Educated to at least GCSE level or equivalent.
- Comprehensive IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Experience in administrative support within an educational or similar office environment.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Proactive with the ability to prioritise workload and manage ad-hoc projects.
- Good interpersonal skills, with a confident and friendly approach.
- Ability to adapt and work effectively under pressure.
Benefits for the part time administration support officer:
- Salary £25742 pro rata.
- Hours 21.75 hours per week (ideally worked over 4 days but flexibility on this)
