Admissions and Human Resources Officer

A wonderful opportunity is available for an individual with fantastic communication skills and an interest in HR and Marketing. You will be working for a leading nursery and prep school in the West Hampstead/Kilburn area.

This is a newly created role and offers the opportunity to be a key part of the non-teaching function for this lovely school. You will work as part of a close knit small team.

Your role will be split into 3 key areas.

Admissions - You are the face of the school for prospective parents. The school is always over subscribed and you will take all enquiries, keep the waiting list and organise all the open evenings and show arounds. This requires great communication skills, a warm and confident manner and tact and diplomacy along with strong adminstrative skills.

Human Resources and Recruitment - Eventually leading the team coordinating all the recruitment or teaching and non teaching staff. Keeping all the HR administration for existing staff up to date and issuing contracts. You may be a seasoned professional in HR looking to diversify your experience or a relative novice but eager to learn.

Marketing - Creating marketing for the school, keeping the website up to date and ensuring that all staff and parent communication is clear, well written and engaging. Again you may have experience in this area or just be keen to learn.

If you are a team orientated person who thrives on variety and enjoys responsibility then this will be a wonderful opportunity. Ideally candidates will have some admissions/education experience but this isn't essential. You will have had to had experience in one of the key areas.
