Adult Social Care Lawyer

£33,956 - £46,354 per annum
The London Borough of Bromley is looking for a full time Adult Social Care Lawyer to join its busy Children and Adults Legal Team.  This is an excellent time to join the council which offers flexible and agile working, a supportive working environment and is in the latter stages of its ambitious Transforming Bromley plan.   We are also in the process of moving to new, hi-tech offices. The successful Applicant will have responsibility for advising on Adult Social Care’s statutory responsibilities/duties towards adults.  They will need to be able to undertake a full case load of Adult Social Care matters including (but not limited to) court of protection applications, ordinary residence disputes, inquests and DOLS matters.  They will also need to be willing to undertake advocacy before courts and tribunals.  It is essential that the post holder is a good team player.   In return, we offer a very competitive package including numerous staff benefits.  For an informal discussion about this excellent opportunity, please contact Paul Nash, Principal Lawyer Children and Adults Legal Team on 0208 461 7458.
