We are looking for Bank Advanced Support Workers to join our existing team  to support a young man who has recently moved into his own home in Camelon within the Falkirk area. There is good local bus services and street parking and is near to lots of recreational establishments. 
 
This young man we support has complex needs, including a learning disability, epilepsy and Autism spectrum disorder and receives 2:1 support each day.

Having moved into his home, this young man's team help him to build a fantastic life, by providing support to source new activities in his community.  He requires support to keep himself safe in the home throughout the day and in the community. 
 
In addition, he requires support with:

Medication administration and Epilepsy management
Cooking and shopping
Assisting with personal care
Maintaining his home and managing finances 
 
The shifts in this service are from 7.45am - 8.15pm and 7.45pm - 8.15am (waking night) and some flexibility around available days would be preferable.

Prior experience supporting people with complex needs is essential, as this is a team and we're looking for our Advanced Support Workers to share their knowledge and experience within the team.  Applicants with a SVQ 3 in Health and Social Care would be highly desirable, but it's not essential.
