AFP, Stories and Vertical Social Media Journalist (6-9 mo. FTC)

AFP is looking for a journalist to join its exciting new mobile content creation unit, Social Stories, to produce multimedia vertical content and Vertical video for a global audience. 

You will work to tight deadlines to produce several short Stories each day, incorporating videos, photos, audio and infographics produced by the Agency's teams from around the world, into creative and engaging Stories and Vertical Videos.

You will propose fresh ideas, then write scripts and edit selected content into 1 to 3 minute formats. 
You will also have the opportunity to pitch and shoot original vertical video Stories – shooting skills is a plus.
Excellent news judgement, and the ability to present complex information in a clear, precise, and engaging way is essential. 

You will ensure the accuracy of the content and respect the agency's editorial policy.
   
Skills required: 

• Excellent news judgement
• Strong interest in international news, new technologies and viral content
• Experience working across Social Media platforms 
• Basic editing skills, knowledge of Adobe Premiere and video editing is a strong plus
• Native level of English
• Knowledge of French
• Filming skills is a plus
