Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality care and support to patients in various healthcare settings. Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Follow care plans and ensure patients' needs are met
- Assist in the implementation of therapeutic programs
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team
- Utilize IT systems for documentation and record keeping
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English (verbal and written communication skills)
- Minimum of six months paid experience in a care home or home care setting in the UK.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes
