This is a great role to develop your skills from a hands-on Engineer into Project Management, Focused on Airfield lighting projects across the UK.
Location: - Manchester - UK-wide travel required (fully expenses with lodgings if required)
Salary: - £50,000 - £55,000 basic + Car or Allowance + Full lodging allowance + Pension + Healthcare + Package.
Role Description
The Resolute Group has been retained to source and secure a AGL (Airfield Ground Lighting) Electrical Technician that will be hands-on in delivering various projects from new build installations through to replacement programmes for Airports to meet their Net Zero targets.
Working on projects from £100k - £5m it's more about understanding Airfield lighting, being an electrical engineer, ideally an apprenticed trained electrician that has progressed into AGL (Airfield Ground Lighting). Reporting to the Electrical Project Manager, working on 1x project at a time which could be based anywhere in the UK on both Public and MOD bases.
You need to have some experience in Airfield lighting as you need both industry experience and the ability to gain an airside pass / pass a DBS check. This role does need someone able to travel as although the first project is based in Manchester the other positions could be based at airfields across the UK.
Full lodgings and expenses are covered if traveling as this is a site-based role with the expectation to be on site 5 days a week but this may be flexible depending on access and the project programme.
Qualifications / Experience
· Engineering-based qualifications ideally an Apprentice trained as an Electrician
· Airfield / Airside project experience.
· Full driving licence
